FAQ's
Here are some frequently asked questions that we are asked from time to time. We hope these answers are
helpful to you.
- What should I do if my lights, switches, or receptacles do not work?
Check to see if the outlet is controlled by a switch. Check to see if any circuit breakers are tripped or if any
fuses have blown. Check to see if any GFI receptacles have tripped. Check light bulbs and replace if necessary.
- Why does my circuit breaker trip or fuses blow?
Except in the case of GFI / AFI circuit breakers which are susceptible to moisture and or weather conditions, the fuses or circuit
breakers should not trip. Check to see if a plugged in appliance or poor cord is causing the problem.
- Why do my lights flicker in my house?
Central air conditioners or heat pumps may cause a noticable slight dimming on start up. Lights may flicker or dim to startup of
some appliances or motor driven equipment. Check with the local utility company for possible defects in the supply source.
